Well, hello there!

I am Emily, one of the two photographers of Little Light Photo Co. I went to college in Colorado, and moved to Wisconsin after I graduated where I met my husband, Peter (the best teammate ever). Peter and I met online, where we quickly hit it off, and found out I sat behind his family at the church he grew up in! Peter proposed to me on the river in the town we live in, so I could remember his love for me whenever I passed it (which is a lot!). I had photographed weddings before getting married, and I absolutely fell in love with being able to capture the moments of weddings and families as they grow and change.

I started taking photos when I was in high school because I loved capturing all of life's moments with people, and getting to know and love so many people. The first days in my photographic history are not the best, but I have photographed dozens of families and at least 15 weddings. I hope to capture your special day, or your family!

When I am not taking photos you can find me spending time teaching high school students science,  reading a good book, baking cookies, bread, or treats in general, or working at a coffee shop as a barista. I truly just love people, and being able to serve them and love them in all that I do.

I seek to serve Jesus in every aspect of my life, and that includes in how I love and serve you as a client. I strive to love as Jesus loves, and anything good that comes from me, comes from God who loves by giving his only Son, Jesus, to die, defeat death, and rise again to bring all who believe into the kingdom of God.
